About Drillcard

Drillcard turns a list of elements you wrote yourself into random training sequences, and times the sets you run them in. It knows nothing about any particular sport — what a sequence means is whatever you put in the set.

How to use it

Build a set on the Sets screen: one element per entry — a punch, an exercise, a footwork pattern, a call.

Generate a sequence on the Train screen and work through it. Tap the sequence or shake the device for the next one.

Set the length, the work and rest intervals and the number of rounds in Settings.

The built-in sets

The sets the app starts with are examples and nothing more: edit them, delete them, or leave them alone. One of them keeps the fencing terminology of the project this app grew out of.

Origin

Drillcard is a fork of Fechtkarte by J0s3f, a drill card generator for historical European martial arts, used under the Apache License 2.0. The sequence generation, the storage layer and the theme come from it. The fencing notation, the card artwork and the library of historical cards do not — this app draws sequences from your own elements instead.
